JLT launches Risk Practice division to strengthen specialist broker focus

7th February 2012, London: In pursuit of the continued goal of being the clients first choice in its areas of specialty, JLT Specialty Limited (JLT) has today announced the launch of it's Risk Practice division created through the reorganisation of its Global Risk Solutions and Regional Partnership divisions.

Warren Downey, Managing Director, Risk Practice Division, JLT, says "This launch marks a continuing journey; we have reorganised our business to strengthen our ever deepening expertise in areas in which we lead the market. The division will have four key areas of focus:

• LIFE SCIENCE RISK PRACTICE
• MAJOR RISK PRACTICE including Utilities, Transport, Food & Drink, Professions, Engineering, Retail and Complex Risks
• RISK PRACTICE REGIONAL OFFICES including Public Sector, Leisure and Corporate Recovery.
• All supported by Broking, Claims, Global Service and Consulting.

The JLT Specialty Risk Practice currently has 7 UK office locations employing over 250 people. A new office to be opened later this year in Nottingham was announced last month.
