Erection All Risks Insurance Facility

Our Onshore Erection All Risks (EAR) facility can insure the construction and operational phases of your onshore EAR projects whatever the size and wherever they are in the world, including: power; water treatment plants; petrochemical; refineries; above ground mines; and heavy industrial facilities.

Whether you're a project owner or contractor you can secure a single policy on an insurance or reinsurance basis, covering the multiple classes of insurance required during the construction and early operational periods of projects.  The flexibiliy of the facility means that you can select one or more of the insurances offered:

• Erection All Risks;
• Cargo;
• Delay in Start Up following cargo and/or EAR loss;
• Operational property damage;
• Operational business interruption;
• Construction and/or operational third party liability (structured over primary and/or excess layers);
• Pollution liability.

The facility insurers have been chosen for their experience in the engineering sector and their ability to meet our claims management protocols.  The panel of insurers may be different across each section allowing us to select different leaders for any risk dependant upon the specific requirements.  This flexibility to secure multiple quotations provides you with choice of insurers based on their experience and appetite for your business.

Other benefits include:

• Bespoke policy form designed specifically for EAR projects - this generally provides broader cover than is normally provided by "open market" forms.  It can, also, be further extended or amended to meet your specific project needs and requirements;
• Abililty to include lenders' clauses and assignment documentation, as commonly used by international lenders and lawyers;
• Seamless policy from the start of cargo transportation and construction through to full operation (for up to one year after the Commercial Operation Date);
