Naresh Dade

Naresh studied Risk Management at Glasgow and Caledonian University and didn't have any work experience in insurance when he applied to our Development Scheme last year.

"Having studied Risk at university I knew I wanted to go into Insurance Broking, the flat structure of JLT and the quality of the Development Programme attracted me to the Group. I am currently an Account Handler in the UK Construction & PFI/PPP Projects team and have been involved in a number of different projects since I started last year. Being involved from the start of a project in JLT allows your knowledge to progress at the same rate as the project, this means you get a real understanding of your job and the industry while contributing to the team. The construction team handles some of the biggest projects in the world!

There is a close network of support among the graduates in JLT and we regularly meet up to get involved in one of the social events organised by the company or just down the pub! In my opinion JLT provides the perfect life work balance for graduates.

I definitely see myself progressing within in the Group, I genuinely feel that if you are really good at what you are being asked to do, then progression will follow naturally, my aim is to become a key member of my team.
