JLT's Marine Division are the leading London Market Marine Broker and have one of the largest books of Marine business.

We place over 30 percent of the world's gas tanker fleet and are the largest producers to providers of tanker Certificate of Financial Responsibility (COFR) guarantees. We are the market leader on all matters relating to piracy, and enjoy a reputation for our innovation in developing covers specific to developing technology and classes of vessels. Our liability team has amongst its clients some of the largest and most prestigious port and terminal Operators and shipyards.

Our approach to business is different from other brokers. We invest heavily in developing relationships with our clients which allows us to understand their technical operation, aspirations and culture. The flexibility of our culture and the innovation that we are able to bring to the table enables us to deliver unique products to the shipping industry.
