JLT Insurance Management Malta Welcomes New Shareholders
27th October 2010, Malta: JLT Insurance Management Malta Ltd (JLTIMM), a joint venture between JLT Insurance Management (Guernsey) Limited (JLTIMG) and Elmo Insurance Limited, a Maltese domestic insurer, is pleased to announce that Risk and Reinsurance Solutions SA (2RS) will become a 33% shareholder in JLTIMM after approval was granted by the Malta Financial Services Authority.
2RS is a subsidiary of Siaci Saint Honoré (Groupe Edmond de Rothschild) the French broker. 2RS is the 3rd largest captive management company in Continental Europe.
Nick Wild, Executive Chairman, JLT Insurance Management says "The inclusion of 2RS as a shareholder in JLTIMM fits squarely with our strategy to expand our client base in the European market. 2RS have an excellent track record of success in this market place and they will considerably strengthen the offering of the Malta operation.
